For today’s video, Dr. Emer is going to be performing the fat grafting to the penis portion of the surgery as part of the 360 revision HD-Lipo on a male patient which includes lipo to the torso and flanks with Renuvion internal radiofrequency helium plasma, and fat transfer to the penis.

The fat removed from his stomach and mons pubis will be used to rejuvenate the penile area. This will be combined with PRP and ACELL, synthetic bladder matrical cells, that help to rejuvenate the area and help the fat to survive. By injecting this material along with numbing into the penis itself, the solution will comfortably flow through the area, and it will give the patient more substance and help him heal faster.

We use a cannula with nanofat, fine filtered fat cells with stem cells, to go into the penile area. If the patient has more skin, we focus the fat on the upper portion of the penis and tapering it. We also inject fat into the super-pubic area by the pubic ligament to give support to the penis. Fat cells tend to not always survive so we do as much as we can to get them to survive. Then 3-6 months later we can take a look and decide on if we can add more. For this patient in particular, we are harvesting and storing his fat so that he can use that fat and not have to do another procedure.

Fat transfer to the penis not only adds in girth and length to the penis, but also improves the vitality, meaning the penis tends to function better after the treatment.

Dr. Jason Emer suggests very intensive post-op care to all of his patients to increase results and speed up the healing process. The post-op protocol includes Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, IV therapy/hydration, radiofrequency, and Venus Legacy. Lymphatic massage paired up with the above will assist with healing and pain levels of the procedure.
